Hokkaido Airport would like to provide you with information on our efforts to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 at the seven airports in Hokkaido that we operate (New Chitose, Wakkanai, Kushiro, Hakodate, Asahikawa, Obihiro, and Memanbetsu). The following is important information for those coming to the airport. Please read this information before coming to the airport. Requests to airport visitors

Before coming to the airport

Check your health condition at home. If you are experiencing a fever or other symptoms, please refrain from going out.

Before check-in

Please wear a mask, disinfect your hands, and follow cough etiquette when in the airport.

During check-in

Please use e-tickets, self-service check-in counters, and self-service baggage check-in counters. Please check in as much baggage as possible to avoid congestion in the cabin.

When waiting

Please help ensure social distancing between other visitors to the airport.

When using the restrooms

Please wash and disinfect your hands when using the restroom. Hand dryers have been disabled to prevent infection.

Infection prevention measures at security checkpoints

Thermography at the entrance of the security checkpoint is used to check the body temperature of passengers boarding the aircraft. Passengers whose body temperature is 37.5ºC or higher will receive a flyer.
